Claremont, NH Pauline M. Cougle, 60, of Lincoln Heights in Claremont, NH died at her home on Friday (October 4) following a period of failing health. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on June 25, 1959 the daughter of Robert L. and Gleora May (Abbott) Cougle. Pauline was a graduate of Newport High School, Class of 1977. Pauline had formerly lived in Newport, NH; Northfield, NH and Lyme, NH. She enjoyed crocheting, word search, rock and roll music, reading and keeping track of people. Members of her family include her mother, Gleora Payette, Claremont, NH; a sister, Ann Cougle, Orford, NH; a half-sister, Gleora Fisher, Goshen, NH; two step sisters Freida Goins, TN; Crystal Hawkins, Claremont, NH; two step brothers, James Payette, Jr, PA; Clarence Payette, Claremont, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Cougle, her step father, James Payette, a step brother, George Payette and a step sister, Corrine Olson. There will be no visiting hours. Graveside Committal Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday (Oct. 14) in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
