Claremont, NH Deborah L. Bruno, 61, of Henry Street and former longtime resident of Cossitt Avenue in Claremont, NH died Wednesday (March 19) at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont< NH following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Claremont, NH on September 6, 1952 the daughter of Louis L. and Barbara H. (Holmes) Bruno and had been a lifetime Claremont resident. She was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1970. She always enjoyed attending the annual Alumni Day Parade in Claremont. Deb was a devoted daughter. She loved her parents deeply and spoke of them often. She loved to read and was a history buff. If you ever needed to know the date of a historical event, all you had to do was ask Deb. She also had a keen memory for historical facts. Deb had been employed as a front end associate at Hannaford Supermarket in Claremont . She started on October 1, 1998 when the store was known as Shop & Save and remained employed for 15 years. She was predeceased by her parents. Members of her family include many cousins, including, Richard Ruest, Patricia Baker, David Holmes, Ken Bruno, Janet Bruno, a special friend Dianne Beaudry as well as her extended family at Hannaford. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Church with the Rev. George Majka, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 7 Martin Drive, West Lebanon, NH 03784. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Roy Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH.
