Beatrice Gagne

Lebanon, NH   Beatrice A. Gagne, 96 formerly of Fremont Street in Claremont, NH died Thursday (July 26) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH following a period of failing health. She was born in Winooski, VT on March 21, 1916 the daughter of Eugene and Alice (Companion) Granger and had been a longtime Claremont resident. Beatrice had been employed as a machine operator by the Lestoil Company in Holyoke, MA. She was a member of the St. Anne Society. She was the widow of Albert Gagne who died in 1982. They were married in November of 1936. Members of her family include two sons, Douglas Gagne, and his wife, Jean, Claremont, NH; Raymond Gagne and his wife, Patricia, Southampton, MA; 4 grandchildren, Dwayne, Kim, Jennifer, Jessica, 4 great grandchildren, Ryan, Drew, Emma Kate, Braxton, two sisters, Rose Drapeau and Theresa Rozwadowski both of Claremont, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Blanche Zombeck and Rena Miles and two brothers, Walter Granger and Francis Granger. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH with the Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 9 am until the time of services.
