Buzzy then graduated from the NH Fire Academy and became a firefighter for the City of Claremont, NH for 15 years until his retirement in January 25, 2001. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (April 13) at the Roy Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Shapiro, officiating. Following the service a Celebration of Buzzy’s Life will continue at the Claremont Country where everyone is invited to attend. Merrill and the family would appreciate it, if possible, that those attending the service please dress in jeans and a plaid shirt. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502 or NH/VT Visiting Nurse/Hospice, PO Box 881, Brattleboro, VT 05302.
